Little Movers was founded in 2007 by Melanie Buck.
After having children Melanie wanted to continue to work but also wanted to be there for her children, she was invited by Gateshead Council to deliver a programme to engage both parents and preschool children in a fun, healthy dance activity and so began Little Movers.
Over the 13 year period the structure of the classes has continued to be tested, developed and perfected and the product is now being enjoyed by thousands of families everyday.
What did Melanie want from working for Little Movers?

- To take and collect my children from school everyday!
- To enjoy all of the school holidays with my own children
- To generate enough income to enjoy life!
- To provide a product that was enjoyed by everyone who comes along!

Little Movers has far exceeded my expectations! I have been lucky enough do all of the above. I have never missed a Carol Service or Nativity Play and enjoyed all of the school runs.
